Telkomtelstra, a Managed Solutions provider and joint venture between Telkom Indonesia and Telstra Corporation Ltd, recently hosted leading representatives from a number of Indonesian Enterprises at Telstra’s Customer Insight Centre (CIC), located in Sydney, Australia. Telkomtelstra facilitated the tour at the CIC on 30th March 2016 with the objective of demonstrating the capabilities of various cutting-edge technologies developed by Telstra in Australia. This also gave a wonderful opportunity to showcase the capabilities of these technologies, which are being adopted by telkomtelstra in Indonesia.
The Telstra CIC visit was conducted as part of the implementation of the Transformational Business Leadership Award program, supported by the Australian Government where several telkomtelstra employees were exclusively awarded including Sri Safitri, Chief Marketing Officer.
The University of Sydney, in Australia, hosted the 3 week Transformational Business Leadership program, which will soon be followed by a Directorship program hosted in Bali, in August 2016. This prestigious award will be presented to outstanding candidates identified by Australian universities, to further develop the professional skills of the recipients, who are emerging as potential leaders in their fields. The skills learnt as part of the program will help them prepare to take senior executive positions within the private sector in the future. The award, given by the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade Australia, to telkomtelstra representatives was also awarded to a number of outstanding employees from leading State-Owned Enterprise and Multinational Organisations.
Aligning with the award theme, ‘Transformational Business Leadership’, telkomtelstra was able to bring to life leading, transformational, cloud-focused solutions and services to attendees at the CIC. There were many compelling solutions showcased which attracted the visitors. Additionally, a Robot that sings and communicates with visitors, which can also accurately predict ones’ gender and age, also caught the eye. As well as a giant 360 degree digital screen that forms the centerpiece of the Centre itself.
“Customised services and content from the Cloud is crucial and has valuable advantages for customers wishing to add greater versatility and speed to their own organisations’ capabilities”, said Sri Safitri, Chief Marketing Officer of telkomtelstra. “There is a great opportunity for telkomtelstra to help Indonesian organisations embrace cloud and make the most of these leading-edge technologies.”
The good news is that similar capabilities demonstrated during the Telstra CIC visit, are being adopted by telkomtelstra for its Cloud services portfolio, to empower enterprises in Indonesia and enable their customers to enjoy a competitive advantage over competitors on their markets. By proving that telkomtelstra is not only supported by Telkom’s broadest domestic connectivity coverage, but also supported by Telstra’s strong history of delivering Managed Solutions and its global experience in APAC region, telkomtelstra expects to bring new, pioneering capabilities to Enterprises in Indonesia.
